Recently, the hydrogen purification unit renovation project of the hydrogen peroxide unit of the caprolactam unit of Hunan Petrochemical was successfully completed and put into use. Behind this achievement, the high-performance methanation catalyst provided by our company played a key role in the smooth advancement and efficient operation of the project.
On June 4th, our company delivered 3 tons of high-performance methanation catalyst to Hunan Petrochemical on time with efficient response and accurate delivery. According to the tail hydrogen characteristics of cyclohexanone unit, the catalyst can precisely catalyze CO in tail hydrogen through unique active component ratio and innovative carrier structure design, and promote its rapid conversion to methane. In the actual application process, this catalyst exhibited strong performance advantages, successfully overcoming technical problems such as large fluctuations in hydrogen CO content and excessive tail hydrogen organic matter in the project. After testing, the CO concentration in the treated hydrogen was stably controlled below 1 ml/standard cubic meter, and the organic matter content was stable below 5 ml/standard cubic meter. All indicators were better than the hydrogen standard for hydrogen peroxide production. The application of the catalyst not only realizes the efficient recycling of hydrogen resources, but also significantly reduces the dependence of the hydrogen peroxide unit on external hydrogen procurement. According to preliminary estimates, the annual hydrogen procurement cost can be reduced by about 144 million yuan after the project is put into operation, creating significant economic benefits for the enterprise, highlighting the excellent value of our company's catalyst products in the chemical industry.
