Color darkening, photosensitive. Soluble in 2000 boiling water, soluble in dilute nitric acid, acetic acid, ammonia and cyanide alkali solution, insoluble in cold water and ethanol. Slightly soluble in boiling water. It needs to be kept out of the light. Silver carbonate is mainly used in the manufacture of motion-picture film, color photographic emulsion, optical film and other sensitive materials, for silver plating, the manufacture of conductive adhesives, silver-zinc batteries, other silver salts and catalysts, used in medicine for sterilization, used in ceramics. Use and store according to specification, no decomposition, avoid contact with oxide; Insoluble in water, soluble in concentrated potassium carbonate or potassium cyanide aqueous solution or nitric acid, sulfuric acid, etc. Carbon dioxide gas is highly sensitive when it is heated and decomposed. This product is highly sensitive and should be kept in a dark place. About 220 ℃ is decomposed into silver oxide and carbon dioxide, at high temperature decomposition of silver; It is safe to use in a dry solid state with little influence of moisture or light.
