Water treatment has sterilization problems. At present, the general use of chlorine into the water or chlorine oxidation disinfection method. However, chlorination was found to cause three carcinogenic, teratogenic and mutagenic substances in drinking water. Ultraviolet, ozone, ultrasonic, magnetization, static and other treatment methods developed in recent years, or because of complex equipment, small water flow, or because of high cost of treatment problems and failed to obtain universal application. Electrolysis is a kind of water treatment technology with good sterilization effect, practicability and no secondary pollution. The technology of producing hypochlorous acid by chlor-alkali process has been widely used. This method makes the current pass through the electrolyzer containing sodium chloride (NaCl) solution, the anode generates chloride (Cl-) ion, and the cathode generates hydroxide (OH+) ion electrolysis unit, and finally generates substances including chloride ion, hydrogen ion and hypochlorous acid. The generated chloride ions and hypochlorous acid are strong oxidants, which have strong killing effect on microorganisms.
