Chlor-alkali industry
The chemical industry of producing chlorine gas and caustic soda by electrolysis of saturated salt solution is called chlor-alkali industry. This production technology has a history of more than 100 years. During the development of chlor-alkali production, platinum, magnetic iron oxide, carbon, artificial graphite and other electrodes have been tried, but the application effect is not ideal. However, there are many advantages in the application of noble metal mixed oxide coated titanium electrode.
