Noble metal catalyst and plating

Chloroplatinic acid, mainly used for the preparation of noble metal catalysts and noble metal coating; Precipitation of potassium, gallium, ammonium, cesium and thallium to separate from sodium; Precipitated alkaloids; Electroplating; The catalyst; Make platinum asbestos. Used for platinum plating and as platinum catalyst, indelible ink and platinum mirror. Used in analytical chemistry to examine potassium and ammonium plasma. Active component of hydrodehydrogenation catalyst in petrochemical industry. Orange yellow or reddish brown crystalline powder, melting temperature of 60 ℃. It is easy to deliquify, soluble in water, ethanol and acetone, while soluble in water, acid, ethanol and ether, highly hygroscopic; It's stimulating. When heated to 360 ℃, broken down into hydrogen chloride gas, and generate four platinum chloride. Violent reaction in contact with boron trifluoride. Corrosive. Storage: dry and sealed at room temperature.
