Application scope:

Hydrogenation catalyst. Hydrogenated benzene ring, so that amine and b- ketone acid synthesis a- amino acid.

Hydroxide palladium is a chemical formula is Pd (OH)2, the molecular weight of 140.4, black powder, Cas No: 12135-22-7, hydroxide palladium, Pd 75.0% or higher, melting point: 297-298 ℃; It is mainly used for hydrogenation catalyst, hydrogenation of benzene ring, synthesis of a-amino acid from amine and b-ketoacid. It's not soluble in water, it's soluble in acid. Store under seal at room temperature.

Synthesis methods: 30g palladium chloride in 43ml of concentrated hydrochloric acid and 570 ml water, add 68.6 g of activated carbon, rapid mixing and heating to 60℃. Add 31 g in the mixture of granular sodium hydroxide, join the speed with temperature does not exceed 80℃ advisable. Then add 6.6g of solid sodium bicarbonate to the mixture and stir for 12h. The catalyst was filtered and washed with 430ml water, followed by a mixture of 430ml water and 8.6ml acetic acid. Leach catalyst, in the 65℃ drying under vacuum. Store under N2 protection. Stable at room temperature and pressure to avoid alkali and bromine materials.
